Welcome to the Bham Now Nature Roundup April 28st “Pass it on down” edition sponsored by the JSU Little River Canyon Center

As we wrap up Earth Week 2017, let’s go back in time – 27 years ago when the group Alabama released the song “Pass It On Down.” This song has been credited for raising awareness about Little River Canyon – and the eventual passage of the Canyon as a National Park two years after the song’s release.

“So let’s leave some blue up above us. Let’s leave some green on the ground. It’s only ours to borrow, let’s save some for tomorrow. Leave it and pass it on down” ~ Chorus to “Pass It On Down” by the country music group Alabama
