6 EVENTS to look forward to A New Year equals more fun events, at least in Bham. 2016 may be ending but 2017 will be one for the books. Bham will certainly keep you busy with a variety of events for all ages. Here are a few events to get you a little excited for the new year.

Birmingham Art Crawl

When: Every First Thursday starting January 5th from 5-9pm

Your fave monthly art walk is back in action in 2017. You’ll see a showcase of some of Bham’s most creative and talented artists right in the center of the historical center. The event is rain or shine. Enjoy a stroll and get a taste of what Bham art is really about.

Christmas Tree Toss and Winter Food Truck Rally at Trim Tab Brewery

When: January 8th, 2017

If you still don’t know what to do with your Christmas Tree by January 8th, here’s a place for you to toss it. the Tree Toss at Trim Tab is a celebration of the new year. You won’t want to miss the 15+ Food Trucks and of course the exciting Tree Toss competition. Birmingham Winter Beer Festival at the BJCC

The highly anticipated Winter Beer Festival is less than two months away! You’ll be able to enjoy over 150+ craft beers, mixology gardens, live entertainment and even cooking with beer seminars. This event is a beer lover’s dream and a beer’s novice chance to explore their palate. For more information, click here.

Chili Cook Off at the Brookwood Mall

When: March 4th, 2017

This outdoor block party will be the place to be this upcoming March. With good food, drinks, and live music, you’ll be sure to have a great time. Guests are invited to wander through over 100 booths to taste-test the best of the best and place their vote. Last year, there were over 1000 guests and over 100 competitors who participated. Tickets are only $10 and go towards the Exceptional Foundation. For more information, click here.

Cottontails Arts, Crafts and Gift Show at the BJCC

When: March 3-5th 2017

Three days of springtime shopping? Don’t mind if I do. Whether you are looking for the perfect Easter Baskets or some new Home Decor, you will be able to find exactly what you are looking for at this themed market. There will be over 500 booths to peruse and enjoy with fresh new ideas and crafts. Think of it as a one-stop-shop for all of your spring time needs. For more information, click here.
